       On October 18, the "2018 Laser Industry Ringier Technology Innovation Award" was announced in Shanghai. The Prysmian Laser Welding Machine for Titanium mesh electrode (hereinafter referred to as LWTME system) won the "Laser Processing System Technology Innovation Award".

 

 

        The LWTME system is the result of "laser + intelligence" and a successful case of SmartPrima's Industry 4.0 practice, showing SmartPrima's aggressive posture in the wave of Industry 4.0 and Made in China 2025.

        The development of thin, light, intelligent and convergence is the long-term development trend of the manufacturing industry, which also strengthens the demand for laser processing equipment, because laser technology naturally has these advantages. The era of "light manufacturing" has arrived, and various laser processing processes (cutting, welding, cladding, ......) have been widely penetrated into various fields such as machinery, automobiles, aviation, iron and steel, shipbuilding, electronics, etc., replacing traditional processes and showing their prowess.         The welding of titanium mesh electrodes is an extremely demanding process. The fully automatic titanium mesh laser welding system, which supports large mesh workpieces with a multi-cushion balancing system, enables "flexible" and precise positioning and reliable clamping of the workpieces, and is highly compatible with the off-line programmed welding path, thus achieving fully automatic welding without human intervention.
